Theft Case Registered
A complaint was lodged at the Alandi Police Station for the theft of a Tata Company Hyva truck (Number MH14 AS 7532) between 8 PM on November 2, 2024, and 9 AM on November 3, 2024. The estimated value of the vehicle is approximately 1.5 million rupees. The complainant reported that the truck was stolen by suspects identified as 1) Kunjalal Saket, 2) Bhagwan Singh, 3) Sunil Saket, 4) Ranganath Singh, and 5) Pawan Dadulal Singh. Following the report, the Alandi Police filed a case under CR No. 347/24, invoking Section 306, 3(5) of the relevant laws.
Special Team Formed to Track Down the Accused
To apprehend the accused and recover the stolen truck, a special investigation team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Bhima Narke from the Alandi Police Station. The team included PSI Rahul Dudhamal, and police staff officers Dahiphale, Dumna, Satpute, Khedkar, and Suryavanshi.
Precise Location Tracking Leads to Pursuit
Based on the mobile location of the suspects, it was determined that the stolen truck was heading towards Washim district from Mehkar in Buldhana. The police then stationed teams at two exit points along the Samruddhi Highway, with heightened surveillance set up at Karanja Phata.
Stolen Vehicle Seized, Five Accused Arrested
As the stolen truck approached Karanja Phata on the Samruddhi Highway, PSI Rahul Dudhamal and his team stopped the truck at the toll plaza. Surrounding the vehicle from all sides, the team apprehended all five suspects on the spot.
Further Investigation Underway
The suspects were taken into police custody for interrogation, during which their involvement in the crime was confirmed. The Alandi Police Station informed senior officials and detained all suspects along with the stolen truck.

In this significant operation, the guidance of Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Chaubey, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shivaji Pawar, and Assistant Police Commissioner Rajendra Gaur, along with the leadership of Senior Inspector Bhima Narke, proved crucial. The entire team, including PSI Rahul Dudhamal, officers Khedkar, Dahiphale, Satpute, Dumna, Suryavanshi, PC Nikam, HC Hole, and PC Narwade, contributed commendably to the operation.
This successful police action once again demonstrates that with organized teamwork and the right strategy, criminals can be swiftly brought under the control of the law.
